Tower of Lies (lies.wad) is a single level wad for Doom 2, replacing Map 01. The story is simple: infiltrate the tower and kill the "demon prince" at the top in order to leave Hell. Lies.wad was made by user scwiba, a well renowned mapper with a penchant for gimmicks. And boy, he delivers with this wad. This map is gimmick heaven (or hell, depending on how you feel about gimmicks). Almost room has a monster trap, and every monster trap has no shortage of enemies. This wad is very atmospheric, in part thanks to the midi track "Simple Solutions" by Mark Klem. It was hard getting screenshots for this wad due to the extremely fast paced nature of the wad, but its well worth a playthrough. Just mind that final fight at the end of the tower!
