i had to shoot the neighbors dog yesterday. im fairly certain it was legal, as it was attacking a dog me and my aunt are caring for, and after i shot him, he wandered off back to his place. bullet was a .22LR, might not even been enough to kill him. i didnt see any blood splatter, even. it isnt a good feeling though, and could have been entirely preventable if they had actually pinned them up. weve had many issues with this dog and their other one. they chase my cats, attack other dogs on our property, etc, etc. its a mess. i dont know if i hope it went and died somewhere or if i hope he survived. not like i could pursue him and finish the job legally. i do feel bad.
